National council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint regulates B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration and other courses of study at 21 central IHM, 14 state government IHM and 15 private IHM affiliated with NCHMCT. For admission to courses offered at these institutes the council conducts Joint Entrance Test (JEE).

A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. The upper age limit is 22 years.
Exam consists of Numerical ability, scientific aptitude, Reasoning and Logical deduction, General Knowledge and current affairs and English Language.

2 WGSHA- Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration –This is one of the top hotel management college. It comes under Manipal University and a entrance exam is conducted for the four year course. Generally exam is held in the month February and is advertised in the newspapers. This college is division of ITC group.

3 IHM-Aurangabad. Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad is a division of Taj Group of hotels. IHM Aurangabad is the top institute of hotel management in India. 4 Oberoi School of Hotel Management (OSHM), New Delhi was established by Oberoi Group. The institute was established by the name Oberoi School of Hotel Management, now it is rechristened with Oberoi Center of Learning and Development.The institute offers courses in the field of hospitality industry. It is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology..
